Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel! remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil My covenant, and I shall fulfil your covenant, and Me alone shall ye dread. 40 And believe in the message I have sent down which fulfils that [predictions about the last prophet in their Scripture] which you already possess and do not be foremost among those who deny its truth. Do not sell My revelations for a paltry price; fear Me alone. 41 Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the truth. 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 Seek help with patience and prayer; this is indeed an exacting discipline, but not to the humble, 45 Who know that they have to meet their Lord, and that it is to Him they are to return. 46
