▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
