۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
