For those who fear God there are pleasure gardens with their Lord. 34 or should We, perchance, treat those who surrender themselves unto Us as [We would treat] those who remain lost in sin? 35 What is the matter with you? How ill do you judge! 36 Or, have you a Book from which you study 37 that (in the Hereafter) you shall have all that you choose for yourselves? 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask then, which of them will stand thereof a surety? 40 they will receive the same thing that the Muslims will? Do they have any witness to such an agreement? Let them bring out such witness, if they are truthful. 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Lowered will be their eyes, disgrace overwhelming them. They had indeed been called to bow in homage when they were free of blame. 43 Let Me alone with him who belieth this discourse; step by step We lead them on when they perceive not. 44 I shall respite them, My stratagem is firm. 45 Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 46 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 Had it not been that favour from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate. 49 But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds. 52
