Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
