The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 And those who recite the message, 3 your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
