NAY, but consider the moon! 32 and the night when it retreats 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning to mortals, 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As if they were startled donkeys 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
Almighty Allah's Truth.
