Yes, never!* By oath of the moon. (Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 By the receding night 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning to mortals, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who will be in Paradise 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 running away from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
