۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
