Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble recorders, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 to burn therein. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
