Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
