Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
