The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
