Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Have you received the news of the Enveloper? 1 On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, 2 Working [hard] and exhausted. 3 they shall enter a burning Fire 4 given to drink from a boiling spring. 5 There is no food for them except thorns of fire. 6 Which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure. 8 With their endeavour well pleased. 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 hearing there no babble; 11 Therein will be a running spring, 12 Wherein are couches raised 13 Goblets set, 14 and cushions ranged, 15 and rich carpets levelled out. 16 Will they not then consider the camels, how they are created? 17 And the heavens, how it was raised high; 18 how the mountains are set firm, 19 And the earth - how it has been spread out? 20 So, [O Prophet] exhort them: your task is only to exhort, 21 You are not over them a controller. 22 Save the one who turns away and disbelieves 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 Indeed only towards Us is their return 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
