The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
