The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
