Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
