The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
