In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
