The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
