Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
