And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
