The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The believers have indeed attained true success: 1 who are submissive to God in their prayers, 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 And they who are observant of zakah 4 And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) 5 except with their wives and what their right hand possess, and then they are not blamed. 6 (but whosoever seeks after more than that, those are the transgressors) 7 (Prosperous are those) who preserve their trusts and pledges 8 And who pay heed to their prayers. 9 These are they who are the heirs, 10 Who will inherit paradise. There they will abide. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 then We made this drop into a clot, then We made the clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We caused it to grow into another creation. Thus Most Blessed is Allah, the Best of all those that create. 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 Then will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware. 17 And We sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth; and We are able to take it away. 18 Then We cause to grow thereby gardens of palm trees and grapes for you; you have in them many fruits and from them do you eat; 19 And also a tree that springeth forth from mount Sinai, that groweth oil and is a sauce for the eaters. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 and are carried on them and also on ships. 22
