The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 So fear Him Who created you and the former generations. 184 They said: You are only of those deluded; 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 190 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 191
