The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the others. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
