O Ye who believe! seek help in patience and prayer; verily Allah is with the patient. 153 And do not say of those who are slain in the way of Allah, "they are dead." In fact, they are alive but you do not perceive that life. 154 Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, 155 who, when they are visited by an affliction, say, 'Surely we belong to God, and to Him we return'; 156 Their Lord will bestow great blessings and mercy upon them; such are the people who are rightly guided. 157 ۞ Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth. 158 Verily those who hide that which We have sent down of evidence and the guidance, after We have expounded it unto mankind in the Book, these! curseth them Allah, and shall curse them the cursers 159 Save those that repent and amend, and make manifest the truth; these it is toward whom I relent. And I am the Relenting, the Merciful! 160 Verily, those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of Allah and of the angels and of mankind, combined. 161 They will live condemned forever, will have no relief from the torment, and no attention will be paid to them. 162 Your God is One God; there is no God except Him – the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 163
