۞ And Allah hath said: take not two gods; He is only One God so Me alone, Me dread. 51 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah? 52 Whatever favor you have is from Allah. Whenever you are afflicted you groan to Him. 53 Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 And they appoint for Allah daughters - hallowed be He! and for themselves that which they desire. 57 When the glad news of the birth of their daughter is brought to them, their faces turn gloomy and black with anger. 58 Because of the evil of the good news he hides himself from people, (pondering) whether he will keep her and be humiliated, or trample her into the dust. Evil is their judgement! 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter deserve to be characterized with evil attributes whereas Allah's are the most excellent attributes. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 60
