Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 and ease my task for me, 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 "And give me a Minister from my family, 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 Increase through him my strength 31 and let him share my task, 32 So that we should glorify Thee much, 33 and remember You abundantly. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 Recall, when your sister went along, saying: 'Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him?' Thus We brought you back to your mother so that her heart might be gladdened and she might not grieve. Moses, recall when you slew a person. We delivered you from distress and made you go through several trials. Then you stayed for several years among the people of Midian, and now you have come at the right moment as ordained. 40 And I chose you for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". 54
