Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 And He it is who causes the night and the day to succeed one another, [revealing Himself in His works] unto him who has the will to take thought - that is has the will to be grateful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 who do not worship idols besides God, nor without a just cause murder a soul to whom God has granted amnesty, who do not commit fornication, for those who do so have committed a sin 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 Those who repent and act righteously have truly returned to God, 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And those who say: our Lord bestow on us coolness of eyes from our wives and our offspring, and make us unto the God-fearing a pattern. 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
