The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
