The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
