In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Wise Book 2 A Guide and a Mercy to the Doers of Good,- 3 Those who establish the prayer and give the poor-rate and of the Hereafter are convinced. 4 Those are upon guidance from their Lord; those are the prosperers. 5 There are some human beings who purchase an enchanting diversion in order to lead people away from the way of Allah without having any knowledge, who hold the call to the Way of Allah to ridicule. A humiliating chastisement awaits them. 6 When Our verses are recited to such a person, he arrogantly turns away, as though he had not heard them, or as though there was a deafness in his ears. So announce to him the tidings of a grievous chastisement. 7 Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure. 8 To dwell therein. The promise of Allah is true: and He is Exalted in Power, Wise. 9 He created the heavens without any supports visible to you, and cast mountains as anchors into the earth so that it may not shake with you, and spread all kinds of beasts in it; and We sent down water from the sky so thereby grew all kinds of refined pairs in it. 10 [All] this is God's creation: show Me, then, what others than He may have created! Nay, but the evildoers are obviously lost in error! 11
