۞ O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise. 15 If He please, He will take you off and bring a new generation. 16 that is not difficult for God. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 For [thus it is:] the blind and the seeing are not equal; 19 nor are the darkness and the light; 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 nor are the living and the dead. God makes to listen whomever He wants. (Muhammad), you cannot make people in the graves to listen. 22 You are but a warner, 23 Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past). 24 And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. 25 Then did I punish those who disbelieved, so how was the manifestation of My disapproval? 26
