3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 What is wrong with you that you do not speak?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We rescued him in exchange of a great sacrifice. (The sacrifice of Ibrahim and Ismail peace be upon them is commemorated every year on 10, 11 and 12 Zil Haj). 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
