Hizb 46

Jonah was certainly a Messenger. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What ails you then, how you judge? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Produce, then, that divine writ of yours, if you are speaking the truth! 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 The angels say, "Each of us has an appointed place. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 Leave them alone for a while, 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
