Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7
