Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Those who are mindful of their Lord will be rewarded with gardens of bliss. 34 What! Shall We treat those who have submitted (to Our command) like those who have acted as criminals? 35 What has happened to you? How do you judge? 36 Or have you a Book through which you learn. 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? 39 Ask them: "Which of you is able to vouch for this?" 40 Or have they some "Partners" (in Allahhead)? Then let them produce their "partners", if they are truthful! 41 On the Day when the leg shall be bared, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. 42 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; and indeed they used to be called to prostrate themselves whilst they were healthy. 43 So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies the Qur'an. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know. 44 And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm. 45 Do you ask for any compensation from them that they are burdened with want? 46 Do they possess the knowledge of the unseen which confirms the truthfulness of their belief? 47 Therefore wait for your Lord’s command, and do not be like the one of the fish; who cried out when he was distraught. (Prophet Yunus – peace be upon him.) 48 Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. 49 But his Lord chose him as His Prophet and made him one of the righteous ones. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 While it is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 52

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
