۞ Do you not see those who have befriended a people who have brought down upon themselves the wrath of God? They are neither with you nor with them and they wittingly swear to falsehood. 14 Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment; surely what they do is evil. 15 They have made their oaths a shield, and obstruct people from the way of God. There is shameful punishment for them. 16 Their wealth and their children will avail them naught against Allah. Such are rightful owners of the Fire; they will abide therein. 17 On the day that God will raise them together, they will swear before Him as they swear before you, and imagine they are on the right path. Is it not they who are liars? 18 The Satan hath overpowered them, and so hath caused them to forget the remembrance of Allah. These are the band of the Satan. Lo! verily it is the Satan's band that shall be the losers. 19 Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be among those most humiliated. 20 [For] God has thus ordained: "I shall most certainly prevail, I and My apostles!" Verily, God is powerful, almighty! 21 You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah. Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful. 22
