۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
