The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
