By the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
