Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
