Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the bright forenoon, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Almighty God's Truth.
