The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is covered, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 And when souls are united, 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel peace and blessings be upon him.) 19 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 where then are you going? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
