The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
