The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 covered down upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
