The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in columns outstretched. 9
God the Almighty always says the truth.
