3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 And he turned upon them smiting them with his right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 even though God created both you and that which you have made?" 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113
