Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 and produce sparks 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
