Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone on earth is destined to die. 26 But abiding is the glory of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficence. 27 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 30 We shall surely aim, O both burdened. 31 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 32 O assembly of jinn and man! if ye be able to pass out of the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass out; ye can not pass out except with authority. 33 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 34 Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 36 When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment: 37 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 38 On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. 39 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 40 The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 42 This is the hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water. 44 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 45
